The DAY has come.....
People always used to say here (in Andhra) when I was a child, that
THERE WILL COME ONE DAY WHEN PPL STRT FIGHTIN FR WATER
Yaaa.. its water.. not for a gal, not for a kingdom, neither for land nor for power.... Its for one of the basic eminities required for the man to survive... WATER.. Whenever I heard about this in my childhood, I used to think that this mite be one of those meaningless stories.. "How come people fight for water??" But, eventually.. knowing the latest developments in this aspect, I strted to feel tht its no more a story.. Its a fact.. Something thats gonna create tremors in the states... and finally I had to agree that the DAY will come.....
And Now... the DAY has come.. With the supreme court giving a verdict somewhat in favor of Tamil Nadu, the people in Karnataka have staged for a bandh... And the political parties in Karnataka have not come out with any proper response after the verdict was given.. [Donno wht are they thinnking of??? their damn Power, votes, etc..].. Police was deployed everywhere in Bangalore (in fear of riots..) and other sensitive places in Karnataka.
Donno wht the DAY will leave or where will this end.. but lets HOPE NEVER SUCH A DAY COME AGAIN IN THE FUTURE....

Hmmm, honestly, from an impartial view-pt., we may say that people of Karnatka should not fight, they should behave rationally n logically - giving due thought to the fact that a verdict in their favor would have been equally unfortunate for other state...
BUT ! .. I believe being one of them is a completely different life and I dunno how we would hv reacted either .... we may feel rt now tht terror is no solution.. but a good part of our judgment comes frm our experiences (which are often a result of our surroundings).. Perhaps you can understand this situation better ...
And OFcourse yaar... for ANY human's Life .. water is Definitely MUCH more important than a gal(ur first comparison)!!! ... for God's sake :D :D It's as obvious as that .. isn't it ???....

If I get it right Siva is just trying to say that battles have been faught due to women/for women but it has never been so for water. Ram faught for Sita and even one of the reason's for battle of mahabharata was Draupadi. So I think it's a fair statement to make :)

U rite regarding the decision in favor of TN. But ya.. I guess atleast the supreme court in our country is not corrupted and when it gives any decision.. guess it will be considering all the pros and cons.. N ya regarding tht gal thing.. It was ritely stated by Ritu.. {Ofcourse was not having them in my mind when I composed this.. Didn't strike my mind. :) :)}I was having in mind the war fought by PrithviRaj, etc..and Helen of Sparta[Troy..]..
