BLACK WEEKEND......
On a summer Friday evening, there was heavy rain filled with thunders and lightening. I enjoyed that as am fond of rain and also that it rained in Summer which is really damn hot over here. I did not get wet as it already became dark. So, it was around 8PM that I started taking dinner. By 9, I was up and sat in my balcony hearing the thunders and tryin to avoid myself frm seeing lightening.
All of a sudden at around 9:30PM, the power went down. This was Nyways expected. So, we waited till 10 fr the power to come. But, there was no power. As there was nothing that we can do, we went to bed that night. There was no power the whole day until I woke up at arnd 11:30AM. We found some eletric wire which got cut due to the heavy rain. As we were non-locals, we thought that someone might have lodged a complaint and let the Electricity board know abt this. We waited till 7:30PM that day. There was no power. Helll!!!! Never before did I happen to experience power cut for such long a duration. Cud actually do nothing the whole day other than expecting power to return now, now...
Frustrated, 3 of us left to one of our colleagues home that day and slept there. It was another part of Kochi and hence there was power. The next day we came back to our house to see that the power has not yet come. Its the same in the whole locality here.. Donno how ppl were staying in their homes without power frm the past 40 hrs.
We finally decided to lodge a complaint at the Electricity board thinking that the more number of complaints they receive the earlier they come to tackle the problem. And here came the most frustrating part........... None of the persons in the locality has lodged a complaint.. Helll!!!!.. We are the first ones and guess the only ones to lodge a compalint regarding this blackout.. Ohh God..
Nyways, after 6 hours (that day was Sunday and also a holiday here in Kerala as they celebrate that day as their New year), we were blessed with power which was being expected to return before 30 hrs.. ;) It was already late by that time, as the weekend got over... :(

1. Tum itne long duration ki baat kyun kar rahe ho??? Tumahre awanigadda jaise chote se gaon mein to power hogi hi nai :)
2.isi ko kehte hain... be lazy and lazy till you are doomed!

First of all.. Avanigadda meinaise power cuts nahi hota hai.. Kya lucknow samjhe ho kyaa?? Hume pata hai ki Lucknow mein bahut power cuts hote hai. But in Avg., its known before and at max we wil be having 3-4 hrs power cut a day.. (Inspite of being a TOWN.... Tht too worst case..)..

Sab ko pata hai ki hum log jab tumhare warangal tak gaye the tumne kisi ko bola bhi nahi ghar jane ko kyun ki sab ko sachayi pata chal jati. Isi ko kehte hain haathi ke daat khane ke aur dikhane ke aur :) Did u get that?

N yaa.. Warangal (infact it was Vijayawada) se mera ghar 3 ghante ka rasta hai and I did not like to foil the tour plans.. ;) So, I did not invite. All fr the sake of classmates U see.. {Not becoz of any other reason} Waise I wud like evryone to come to my home.. {After all they will come to know how great in Avanigadda.. Not like Lucknow(Uff.. very bad.. ;)) }
